With partners with bank and NBFI, we created the financial initiative platform to support and invest in entrepreneurs solving existing challenges. Building communities around entrepreneurs and their new business to improve opportunities for growth. And to promote a more circular chain and our quality of life. “The accelerator program pushed me forward in the shortest time possible.”
We accelerate innovative startups through the so-called pioneer gap when few investors are willing to provide money and assistance to fund. Our focus is on commodities startups in emerging markets or native startups with the ambition to become active there. We actively support the UN’s Social Development Goals.

We are not merely a commercial enterprise. We realize that we operate in the middle of a social society and that every move we make impacts someone on this Country. Not only do we impact our customers who buy our products, but we are also connected to the people that make our products. As a business we place orders and therefore help others live sustainable lives. Aware of this unique opportunity we pay attention to our suppliers and do not only buy from them, we also get positively involved. We take on an advisory role and help them to get ready for the Local markets. People are what we care for most. Business is all about social enterprising
Fair trade, its ins and outs. Fair trade aims to help producers in developing areas to improve their living conditions and promote sustainability. It advocates the payment of a higher price to farmers as well as higher social and environmental standards. There are several recognized fair trade certifiers from relevant organizations. These are umbrella organizations whose mission is to set the fair trade standards and to support, inspect and certify disadvantaged producers and harmonise the fair trade message.
Fair trade corresponds to the real price to producers as it also includes a premium, used by the cooperative for projects to develop the community. Premium allocation, decided by the farmers, goes to community projects. Fair trade markets there are 1,240 fair trade producer organizations in different districts providing work to more than 7.5m people. Around 80% of producer organizations are smallholders.
Fair trade is especially relevant in grocery business. Our competitive landscape overall We are one of a handful of dedicated players with a strong Local presence and we compete with a range of very different companies in our markets. Most organic producers are small to medium-sized, family-owned, and operate in just one country. Often, they cover several product categories. Fair trade, in contrast, has been embraced by many producers. This is almost becoming a requirement in several product categories.
We highly value sustainability, because we are well aware of the negative consequences a business may have on its environment. Not only that, but we also see it as our personal mission to create sustainable businesses in developing countries. With emphasis on sustainable, meaning that we cannot support businesses that are so focused on growth they overlook sustainability. In developing countries where SMEs are thriving and becoming more popular than ever, we believe it is important to guide the process towards an environmentally friendly one. It is truly amazing to see more and more businesses in developing countries, and we certainly should encourage that. Yet, we must also point to the fact that this country has its limits and that we should continue our search to more sustainable practices. And that might imply making sacrifices, but in the end it will be so worth it. That is what we strive for. How humble that effort may be… let us all do our share.
